33 OPEN QUESTIONS
01
Will GTA VI come to PC?
Rockstar's confirmed platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. No PC release has been confirmed or scheduled. Past Rockstar precedent (GTA V, RDR2) is a 13–18 month delay between console and PC, but no GTA VI PC release has been stated.
02
How big is Vice City compared to GTA V's Los Santos?
Rockstar has not published a map size, area, or comparison statement. All circulated comparisons are community estimates from leaks or trailer-footage analysis, not official.
03
How many districts are in Vice City, and what are they all called?
Rockstar has officially named two neighbourhoods (Ocean Beach, Little Cuba) and two specific landmarks (Tisha-Wocka flea market, VC Port). The community has mapped 20+ candidate neighbourhoods from leaked map data and trailer screenshots, but only those four are Rockstar-confirmed.
04
Is Vice City explicitly modelled on Miami?
Rockstar describes Vice City as "USA" and "the sun and fun capital of America" but does not name Miami, Florida, or any real-world city as the inspiration on any whitelisted source. Every Miami / Florida claim circulating is community inference based on visual cues.
05
How does Vice City connect to the Leonida Keys?
Trailer 1 visually shows a causeway from Vice City southward into the Keys, and the Rockstar GTA VI hub page includes Keys-set imagery, but Rockstar has not described the Vice City–Keys geographic relationship in prose. Whether the Keys are gameplay-accessible from Vice City is unstated.
06
When does Trailer 3 (or the next Vice City reveal) drop?
Rockstar has released two trailers (December 2023, May 2025). Past Rockstar trailer cadence on GTA V was multiple trailers spanning roughly a year before launch. With GTA VI launching November 19, 2026 and no Trailer 3 yet announced, when (and whether) a third trailer arrives is an active community question.
07
Will Vice City businesses (Boobie's strip club, Only Raw Records, the Tisha-Wocka flea market, VC Port) be enterable or playable?
Rockstar has named these locations and tied them to characters but has not stated whether they are interactive interiors, mission settings, or backdrop only. Past Rockstar games have varied widely on this.
08
Will the Leonida Keys have named towns or sub-areas, or will the archipelago be a single undifferentiated region?
Rockstar has named ZERO towns, communities, or sub-districts within the Leonida Keys on any first-party source. The Keys hub copy treats the archipelago as a single "tropical archipelago"; character bios refer to "the Keys" generically. Past GTA games subdivided major regions (San Andreas had Las Venturas, San Fierro, Los Santos as distinct cities) — whether the Keys follow that pattern or are sub-divided only by individual islands is unstated.
09
Can players freely drive between Vice City and the Leonida Keys, or is the causeway gated by mission progression?
Rockstar imagery shows a road bridge between Keys islands, and Trailer 1 footage suggests a causeway from Vice City southward. But Rockstar has not stated whether the Keys are open from the start of the game, gated behind story milestones, or restricted to specific missions. Past Rockstar games have varied (RDR2's Saint Denis was always-accessible; GTA V's Mt. Chiliad area had no story gating; some GTA territories historically opened progressively).
10
Has Rockstar stated that the Leonida Keys are based on the Florida Keys, or is that community inference?
Rockstar describes Leonida as visually evoking sun-and-fun America but does not name Florida, the Florida Keys, or any specific real-world archipelago as the inspiration on any whitelisted source. The Florida Keys parallel circulating in coverage and community channels is inference based on visual cues (palm trees, shallow water, bridge-connected islands, drug-running history) — none of which is unique to the Florida Keys. As of this entry's creation, no first-party Rockstar / Take-Two statement names the real-world inspiration.
11
Will Brian's boat yard, Jason's residence, and the depicted beach bars be enterable / playable interiors?
Rockstar has named Brian's boat yard as a smuggling front, Jason's residence as a Keys property owned by Brian, and depicted at least one beach bar in the hub imagery — but has not stated whether these are mission interiors, free-roam interiors, or backdrop set dressing. Past Rockstar games have varied widely (Franklin's Vinewood Hills house was enterable; many depicted businesses in GTA V were exterior-only).
12
How deep does Keys-set water gameplay go — boat ownership, scuba diving, fishing, jet skis?
Rockstar's hub imagery shows scuba divers, fishing rods, jet skis, recreational boat parties, and seaplanes, all set in the Keys. None of those visual elements is yet confirmed as a player-controllable system. GTA V had limited diving; RDR2 had fishing; whether GTA VI brings these together as a Keys-anchored water-sports layer is unstated.
13
Does Brian (Jason Duval's Keys-based landlord and employer) have a surname disclosed by Rockstar?
Rockstar's GTA VI hub bio for Brian gives only the first name. An older internal Six Star Ledger draft assumed a surname "Heder" — that was a project-internal assumption, not a Rockstar fact. As of 2026-05-09 no first-party Rockstar / Take-Two source reviewed by this publication discloses a surname for the character. He is referenced on the site as "Brian" only.
14
Has Rockstar stated that Grassrivers is based on the Florida Everglades, or is that community inference?
Rockstar describes Grassrivers as a wetlands of mangroves, alligators, airboats, and pier-built structures, with the Vice City skyline visible in the distance. The Florida Everglades parallel circulating in coverage and community channels is inference based on visual cues — none of which is unique to the Everglades. As of this entry's creation, no first-party Rockstar / Take-Two source reviewed by this publication names Florida or the Everglades as the inspiration for Grassrivers.
15
How does Grassrivers connect to Vice City — by water, road, both? Is it freely traversable from Vice City?
Rockstar's GTA VI hub depicts a speed boat in Grassrivers waters with the Vice City skyline visible in the distance, implying an open waterway between the two regions. But Rockstar has not described the geographic relationship in prose, has not stated whether road infrastructure exists between them, and has not stated whether Grassrivers is open from game start or gated by mission progression. Past Rockstar games have varied widely on inter-region traversal access.
16
What player-facing gameplay systems does Grassrivers anchor — airboat operation, alligator hunting, fishing, scuba?
Rockstar's hub imagery in the Grassrivers section shows airboats, alligator encounters (including a passenger aiming a gun at one), and a hunting party with a dead gator and wildcat. None of those visual elements is yet confirmed as a player-controllable gameplay system. RDR2 had hunting; GTA V had limited diving. Whether GTA VI brings airboat-piloting, alligator combat, swamp hunting, or related water/wildlife systems together as a Grassrivers-anchored gameplay layer is unstated.
17
Will Grassrivers have named towns or sub-areas, or will it be a single undifferentiated wetlands region?
Rockstar has named ZERO towns, communities, fishing camps, smuggler's outposts, or sub-districts within Grassrivers on any first-party source reviewed. The region's hub copy treats it as one primordial expanse; the imagery shows pier-built structures along the water but does not name them. Past GTA games subdivided major regions; whether Grassrivers follows that pattern or remains a single wilderness zone is unstated.
18
What story missions or operations are set in Grassrivers? The hub imagery includes a police pursuit through swamp terrain — is this a tease for a mission, free-roam emergent gameplay, or set dressing?
Rockstar's hub depicts a helicopter and two police cars chasing a pick-up truck through Grassrivers swamp with alligators around. This frames Grassrivers as a setting for high-tension pursuit, but Rockstar has not stated whether this is a story mission, an emergent free-roam wanted-level scene, or simply marketing-set dressing. The 'far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries' tease in the same region copy suggests at least some narrative attention to the region; specifics are unstated.
19
Has Rockstar stated that Port Gellhorn is based on Florida's west Gulf coast (Pensacola, Tampa Bay), or is that community inference?
Rockstar describes Port Gellhorn as Leonida's forgotten coast — a once-popular vacation spot in tourism decline with a malt-liquor / painkiller / truck-stop economy. The Florida west Gulf coast (Pensacola, Tampa Bay area) parallel circulating in coverage and community channels is inference based on visual and tonal cues. As of this entry's creation, no first-party Rockstar / Take-Two source reviewed by this publication names any specific real-world location as the inspiration.
20
Is the dirt bike — invoked in Rockstar's Port Gellhorn region copy — a player-controllable vehicle anchored to this region, or generic across Leonida?
Rockstar's hub copy tells visitors to "jump on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet" specifically when exploring Port Gellhorn, framing the dirt bike as a region-evocative way to traverse the town. Hub imagery in OTHER regions (Mount Kalaga) also depicts dirt bikes performing tricks, so dirt bikes appear to be cross-regional in availability. Whether Port Gellhorn anchors any dirt-bike-specific gameplay (a track, a delivery system, a chase mission) is unstated.
21
Will Port Gellhorn have named venues — the motel, the cabaret club, the grow-room building — or will they remain anonymous backdrops?
Rockstar's hub depicts a specific motel (lit vacancy sign), a specific club (signs advertising 'the cabaret'), and a specific grow-room interior in Port Gellhorn — but names none of them. Past GTA games have varied: some depicted businesses are enterable named establishments, others are exterior-only. Whether these three Port Gellhorn venues get proper names (and become entries in the Locations database) is unstated.
22
What story missions or operations are set in Port Gellhorn? The 'grow room with shovel and baseball bat' imagery and the 'curbside package handoff' imagery suggest mission setups — is the region a mission destination?
Rockstar's hub frames Port Gellhorn as having an informal underground economy (malt liquor / painkillers / truck stop energy drinks) and depicts vignettes that look like mission setups — a grow room with implements, a curbside drug-deal-coded exchange, a club parking-lot scene. Rockstar has not stated whether these are mission setups, free-roam emergent gameplay, or marketing-only set dressing. The strength of the regional thesis ("forgotten coast", "new economy") suggests at least some narrative attention; specifics are unstated.
23
Will any named character get a Port Gellhorn-tied bio? The "two men in the grow room" imagery depicts unnamed residents — does Rockstar plan to introduce them, or do they remain anonymous backdrops?
Rockstar's hub depicts Port Gellhorn residents in vivid scenes (the grow room pair, the curbside woman, the bonfire couple) but none has been promoted to a standalone bio. Vice City has five named characters with bios in the data layer; Leonida Keys has three (Brian and Cal Hampton with Keys-only ties, plus Jason Duval whose Keys residence cross-ties him there from his Vice City story arc); Port Gellhorn has none yet. Whether any of the depicted residents become named characters with bios — particularly the grow-room two — is unstated.
24
Has Rockstar stated that Mount Kalaga is based on north Florida uplands or the Apalachicola National Forest, or is that community inference?
Rockstar describes Mount Kalaga as a national landmark on Leonida's northern border with prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails, surrounded by lush backwoods. The north Florida uplands / Apalachicola National Forest parallel circulating in coverage and community channels is inference based on visual and tonal cues. As of this entry's creation, no first-party Rockstar / Take-Two source reviewed by this publication names Florida or Apalachicola as the inspiration for Mount Kalaga.
25
Will Mount Kalaga have named towns, ranger stations, settlements, or sub-areas, or will the national park be a single undifferentiated wilderness?
Rockstar has named ZERO towns, ranger stations, fire watch towers, trailheads, or sub-districts within Mount Kalaga on any first-party source reviewed. The region's hub copy treats it as one national landmark; the imagery shows roads, streams, woods, and a bridge but does not name any of them. Past GTA games have varied: RDR2's wilderness regions had named settlements (Strawberry, Annesburg) within otherwise wild territory; whether Mount Kalaga follows that pattern is unstated.
26
What player-facing gameplay systems does Mount Kalaga anchor — hunting, fishing, off-road riding, kayaking, wildlife combat?
Rockstar's hub copy advertises Mount Kalaga as offering "prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails" and the imagery shows dirt bikes, an ATV, a kayaker, a rifle pair walking through the woods, and a cougar stalking deer. None of those visual elements is yet confirmed as a player-controllable gameplay system. RDR2 had hunting + horse + canoe systems; GTA V had limited wilderness mechanics. Whether GTA VI brings hunting, fishing, off-road riding, kayaking, and wildlife AI together as a Mount-Kalaga-anchored gameplay layer is unstated.
27
What story missions or operations are set in Mount Kalaga? The hub depicts a news helicopter overflying the ridge and a rifle pair walking through the woods — are these mission setups or set dressing?
Rockstar's hub imagery depicts a news helicopter flying over a tree-filled ridge and two armed people moving through the woods, with the body copy framing the surrounding backwoods as home to "hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals" who "live far from the prying eyes of the government". This frames Mount Kalaga as a setting for surveillance, paranoia, and armed-response narrative beats, but Rockstar has not stated whether these are story missions, free-roam emergent gameplay, or marketing-only set dressing.
28
Will any named character get a Mount Kalaga-tied bio? The body copy populates the backwoods with hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals; will any of them surface as named characters?
Rockstar's region body names the backwoods residents as a category — "hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals" — but discloses no individual character. The depicted residents in MK imagery (the rifle pair, the dirt-bike riders, the kayaker) are also anonymous. Vice City has five named characters with bios in the data layer; Leonida Keys has three (Brian, Cal Hampton, and Jason Duval cross-tied via residence); Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn have none yet, and Mount Kalaga has none. Whether any of the depicted residents become named characters is unstated.
29
Has Rockstar stated that Ambrosia is based on Florida's central agricultural belt (Polk County, Lakeland), or is that community inference?
Rockstar describes Ambrosia as the heart of Leonida — an industrial / agricultural town defined by the Allied Crystal sugar refinery and a local biker gang. The Florida central agricultural belt parallel (Polk County / Lakeland area) circulating in coverage and community channels is inference based on visual and tonal cues. As of this entry's creation, no first-party Rockstar / Take-Two source reviewed by this publication names any specific real-world location as the inspiration.
30
Will Ambrosia have named towns or sub-areas, or will the region be a single undifferentiated industrial heartland?
Rockstar has named ZERO towns, neighbourhoods, or sub-districts within Ambrosia on any first-party source reviewed. The region's hub copy treats it as one heartland; the imagery shows a skyline + smoke stacks but does not name any settlement. Past GTA games subdivided major regions; whether Ambrosia follows that pattern or remains a single industrial zone is unstated.
31
Will the Allied Crystal sugar refinery be enterable, a mission setting, or a business management gameplay system, or will it remain backdrop only?
Rockstar names the Allied Crystal sugar refinery as Ambrosia's in-fiction employer but does not show its interior or describe how the player interacts with it. Past GTA games have varied widely — some named businesses (Vinewood Casino, Maze Bank, the GTA V businesses) became enterable interiors and in some cases business-ownership gameplay; others stayed backdrop. Whether Allied Crystal is a player-facing system or set dressing is unstated.
32
What is the local biker gang's proper name, and is it a player-encountered faction with gameplay systems (territory, missions, faction reputation)?
Rockstar names the biker gang as a category — "the local biker gang" — and depicts them riding in matching leather vests down an Ambrosia road, but discloses no proper name for the gang. The body copy frames them as Ambrosia's shadow economy alongside Allied Crystal. Whether the gang gets a proper name (Newswire post, future trailer, character bio surfacing) AND whether they're a player-encountered faction with gameplay systems (rival gang AI, territory mechanics, mission arcs) are both open.
33
What story missions are set in Ambrosia, and will any of the depicted residents (the burning-crops farmer, the woman with the handgun, the bikini-car-wash crew) get standalone bios?
Rockstar's hub depicts vivid mission-coded vignettes in Ambrosia (a field of crops burning at sunset, a woman hugging a man from behind while displaying her handgun) and one local-economy vignette (the bikini car wash). Vice City has five named characters with bios in the data layer; Leonida Keys has three (Brian, Cal Hampton, plus Jason Duval cross-tied via Keys residence); Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and Mount Kalaga have none yet, and Ambrosia has none. Whether these vignettes are story-mission setups, free-roam emergent gameplay, or marketing-only set dressing — and whether any of the depicted residents become named characters with bios — are both open.

How this page was built
A question lands here when Rockstar / Take-Two have not made a first-party statement on it AND community discussion is treating it as an open issue. Each entry surfaces what we know, what we don’t, and which side any partial evidence falls on — without manufacturing an answer. When a question maps to an Evidence Desk claim being verdict-tracked, the cross-link surfaces both. Read the editorial standards for the full vocabulary.
