Trailer 3 will be the launch trailer.
Rockstar’s launch cycles run on a three-trailer pattern: announcement, campaign, launch. Trailer 1 was the announcement. Trailer 2 was the campaign. Trailer 3 will drop somewhere between mid-October and early November 2026, three to six weeks before the 19 November release, and it will look different from the first two: more polished, more narrative-forward, more direct about the story moments Rockstar’s been protecting since Trailer 1’s prison-system opening. It will arrive with the pre-order push and the review embargo dates that traditionally surround a GTA launch. It will not move the date. Rockstar dates slip once and then hold, and this one has held since they put it up. ENTITIES TO WATCH
Database entities Trailer 3 will reaffirm and likely expand on. New entries (additional protagonists’ close cast, named locations, organisations) will be added to the Database as the launch trailer surfaces them.
