What Rockstar has and hasn't said
Rockstar has dated the next GTA VI reveal. On its own Newswire it announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, premiering 27 August 2026 on Netflix at 3pm ET and arriving free on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and rockstargames.com at 9pm ET. What remains open is whether that presentation is Trailer 3: Rockstar has described it only as an extended look and has not used trailer numbering, so Six Star Ledger is not applying that label on its behalf. The historical late-June-to-mid-July window did pass without a trailer, confirming the older GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 cadence was not a reliable guide to this campaign.
